Around the beginning of 2021, I found myself increasingly drawn to the grid pattern.
Maybe it was the fun and funky ways it was popping up in the creative world... but it felt deeper than that, almost primal, and I had to know why.
How long have humans been making them? Why are we drawn to them aesthetically and why do we heavily lean on them as a way to organize just about anything?
Jewelry as a tool for calming has been a concept I’ve played with for years. But after this last year, it went from curious interest to desperate need.
In this case, the tool is more of an aesthetic reminder of knowing what works for you. For me, it’s simplicity and order that have always given my monkey mind a sense of peace and harmony.
To create the original version of this intricate piece, we used 3D-printed elements combined with our method of hand-carving wax. Click here to learn more about how we use the lost-wax casting method to create our pieces.

PRODUCTION & PROCESSING
Orders for in-stock items usually ship within 3-7 days of being placed.
Exceptions: wholesale orders
Orders containing out-of-stock (made to order) items can take 1-3 weeks to ship (though it's usually closer to 2 weeks).
MIMOSA generally ships Monday-Friday. Days can vary depending on frequency and volume of orders.

SHIPPING OPTIONS
STANDARD SHIPPING ($5) - USPS First Class service usually takes 2-5 business days to be deliveredonce the package is mailed.
PRIORITY ($10) - USPS Priority service usually takes 1-3 business days to be delivered once the package is mailed.
PRIORITY EXPRESS ($28) - USPS Priority Express provides next-day to 2–day delivery service once the package is mailed.

TRACKING
A tracking number will be automatically emailed to you once package is shipped if an email address was provided at checkout. Please allow 24 hours for tracking information to update.
If your order is damaged when you receive your package, please take a picture of the damage and send the picture tohello@mimosahandcrafted.comas soon as possible. We will replace any damaged items as quickly as possible, if the damage is our fault. MIMOSA is not responsible for orders damaged during shipping.
