Between little human-like hands they use to wash their food and clumsy, curious personalities, raccoons have to be some of the cutest critters we find in our backyards.
We had one who would climb the fence and sit outside my son’s bedroom window. He’d lick water off our neighbor’s orange tree leaves, oblivious to us, thirsty and content, while we watched like it was the best show on TV. And if you’ve seen even one rescue video of a baby raccoon, you’re probably as hooked as the rest of us.
They say raccoons are evolving to be cuter to humans, adapting faster than other animals to live alongside us, the way dogs once did. I’m no evolutionary scientist, but I do know a cute critter when I see one, and the raccoon is one of the cutest.

Bronze first: Our bronze is a solid copper + tin alloy, lead free. Copper can react with the natural acids, sweat, and moisture in your skin. Some people may see a harmless green or blue mark. Others never do. It can even vary day to day based on humidity, activity, or hydration. This is normal and not a quality issue.
Tarnish & patina: Bronze darkens over time, just like sterling silver. That "dirty" look is natural oxidation (patina), not damage. A quick polish brings back a warm glow similar to 14k gold at a fraction of the cost. The trade off is a bit of maintenance.
Quick prevention tips:
• Remove before washing hands, swimming, showering, or heavy sweating.
• Dry well after wear.
• Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish or jewelry wax to the inside that touches skin if you are sensitive.
• Polish as needed with a treated jewelry cloth or gentle metal polish.
