Bronze first: Our bronze is a solid copper + tin alloy, lead free. Copper can react with the natural acids, sweat, and moisture in your skin. Some people may see a harmless green or blue mark. Others never do. It can even vary day to day based on humidity, activity, or hydration. This is normal and not a quality issue.
Tarnish & patina: Bronze darkens over time, just like sterling silver. That "dirty" look is natural oxidation (patina), not damage. A quick polish brings back a warm glow similar to 14k gold at a fraction of the cost. The trade off is a bit of maintenance.
Quick prevention tips:
• Remove before washing hands, swimming, showering, or heavy sweating.
• Dry well after wear.
• Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish or jewelry wax to the inside that touches skin if you are sensitive.
• Polish as needed with a treated jewelry cloth or gentle metal polish.
Want a lower-maintenance option? Many styles are also available in sterling silver or gold. Contact us and we will help you swap or upgrade.
General care for all MIMOSA jewelry:
• Check prongs that hold stones from time to time.
• If a hinge, clasp, or bracelet feels loose, please bring it in.
• Avoid harsh chemicals and cleaning products.
• Store dry in your cloth MIMOSA bag or a jewelry box when not wearing.
Professional care: We are happy to clean and check your piece anytime. Once a year is a good habit.

PRODUCTION & PROCESSING
- Orders for in-stock items usually ship within 3-7 days of being placed.
- Exceptions: wholesale orders
- Orders containing out-of-stock (made to order) items can take 1-3 weeks to ship (though it's usually closer to 2 weeks).

Packages shipped via USPS:
- Sterling Silver purchases totaling less than or equal to $399 will ship via USPS first class mail for $7.
- Sterling Silver purchases ranging from $400 - $799 will require an additional $15 charge and ship via USPS first class mail with insurance.

Sterling Silver purchases ranging from $800 - $1,499 will require an additional $23 charge and ship via USPS first class mail with insurance.
- Sterling Silver purchases ranging from $1,500 - $2,500 will require an additional $33 charge. Your order will ship via USPS first class mail with insurance.
- Sterling Silver purchases greater than or equal to $2,501 will require an additional $58 charge. Your order will ship via USPS first class mail with insurance.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
Items that are in original condition, not damaged, and still in our current inventory can be returned or exchanged online or in-store at the MIMOSA Shoppe within 90 days* of the delivery date.
TRACKING
- A tracking number will be automatically emailed to you once package is shipped if an email address was provided at checkout. Please allow 24 hours for tracking information to update.
- If you feel that your package has been lost in the mail, please contact the carrier for your order.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES
- We not are accepting international orders at this time.
- Gold is not available for international shipping.

- If your order is damaged when you receive your package, please take a picture of the damage and send the picture to hello@mimosahandcrafted.com as soon as possible. We will replace any damaged items as quickly as possible, if the damage is our fault. MIMOSA is not responsible for orders damaged during shipping.
