No kitchen is complete without the time-tested tradition of a cast-iron skillet and the durability we’ve depended on generation after generation.
Humans have been casting skillets in iron since before Jesus was born. They hung over hearths in the Middle Ages and crisscrossed America in Conestoga wagons.
They sit on stovetops across the world, ready to cook the meals that make us.
This teeny little cast skillet is a celebration of the cooks, the cooking, and the food they’ve turned into feasts for friends and family across the ages.
This pendant measures approximately 7/8" tall x 1/4" wide, including its bail.

Made by hand in our South Louisiana studio. Each piece varies slightly due to its handmade nature.

Bronze first: Our bronze is a solid copper + tin alloy, lead free. Copper can react with the natural acids, sweat, and moisture in your skin. Some people may see a harmless green or blue mark. Others never do. It can even vary day to day based on humidity, activity, or hydration. This is normal and not a quality issue.
Tarnish & patina: Bronze darkens over time, just like sterling silver. That "dirty" look is natural oxidation (patina), not damage. A quick polish brings back a warm glow similar to 14k gold at a fraction of the cost. The trade off is a bit of maintenance.
Quick prevention tips:
• Remove before washing hands, swimming, showering, or heavy sweating.
• Dry well after wear.
• Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish or jewelry wax to the inside that touches skin if you are sensitive.
• Polish as needed with a treated jewelry cloth or gentle metal polish.

TRACKING
A tracking number will be automatically emailed to you once package is shipped if an email address was provided at checkout. Please allow 24 hours for tracking information to update.
If you feel that your package has been lost in the mail, please contact the carrier for your order.
If your order is damaged when you receive your package, please take a picture of the damage and send the picture tohello@mimosahandcrafted.comas soon as possible. We will replace any damaged items as quickly as possible, if the damage is our fault. MIMOSA is not responsible for orders damaged during shipping.
