In 2017, we asked the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank how we could best help at its lowest donation time of the year - "peanut butter" was the answer.
We've been collecting peanut butter for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank every summer since.
This year's Peanut Butter Drive is happening Monday, June 3 - Monday, June 17. Find details of how to participate in this year's drive below.
MIMOSA's Baton Rouge Peanut Butter Drive 2024
Wait, so why peanut butter again? The BR Food Bank explained that protein-based donations are a "tremendous help because it is so expensive to get protein in your diet.”
Peanut butter is a low-cost, high-return donation, and it's EASY to transport, so it's a win/win.
Find all the ways you can participate below!
